Lithuanian apparel and textile industry association LATIA together with the networking partners in Russia organize a sales mission for companies interested in entering or expanding business in Russia.

Lithuanian apparel and textile industry association LATIA together with a group of partner organizations like Confederation of German Textile & Fashion Industry, TEKO Design and Business Academy (Denmark), Swedish School of Textiles – University of Boras, Baltic Fashion Federation and others have got an approval and partial financing support of EU grants through the Interreg IV B Baltic Sea Region program. The main goal of the Project is to promote the innovative Baltic Fashion industry bringing production back to the Baltic Sea Region and Promoting sustainable production (eco-friendly, socially inclusive, economically profitable).

On the 14th of October in Vilnius Lithuanian apparel and textile industry association Latia together with the Nordic Council organized b2b meetings for the Lithuanian, Scandinavian and Russian apparel and textile companies. Companies like IC Companies, BTX group, Lego wear, Kriss AB, Resterods and Russian clients like универмаг "Московский", Trendavenue, Gatex and many others took a part at the event. Companies expressed an interest to meet in Lithuania and next year, therefore LATIA believes that Vilnius will become a meeting place for Baltic and Scandinavian companies/brands and Russian wholesalers, retailers. The latest surveys show that there is a growing interest in the Baltic and Nordic design in the Russian market.
